The Needville Volunteer Department is assisted by several Fire Departments Volunteer and Paid in the event of an incident that warrants a larger response than the Needville Volunteer Department can provide at any given time. The Needville Volunteer in turn responds several times a year to assist those departments to incidents that require a larger response than what that department could provide.

There are several other Departments that on several occasions we have assisted them and they have assisted us at incidents. One of the largest Multi Agencies assists was when the Needville High School Gym burned, with over 24 different Agencies responding to our request for help, resulting in the preservation of the rest of the High School. With Responding Agencies coming from as far as Freeport and Houston to provide their assistance to successfully extinguish the Conflagration. And our latest School fire with help from Sugarland, Stafford, Wharton, Hungerford, East Bernard, Old Ocean, West Columbia, Willow Fork as well as our usuals and many more.
